Why cover your fishing reel?

Your reel is often the most fragile (and expensive) part of your setup. One drop or knock in transit can damage its gears, bearings or drag. Reel Armour gives you peace of mind with reinforced padding all the way around, a heavy-duty outer shell and an Armour-Zorb core that helps absorb shocks. Both covers are Drop-Tested 6.5 ft.

Spinning reel cover (1000–4000)

Reel Armour Spinning is one size for spinning reels size 1000 to 4000 (some brands write 10 to 40), left- or right-hand. It covers the reel body and bail arm.

Low-profile baitcaster reel cover (100–200)

Reel Armour Baitcaster is one size for low-profile baitcast (casting) reels size 100 to 200 (some brands write 10 to 20), left- or right-hand. Reinforced padding wraps the whole reel.

Rigged and ready

A line runner channel lets the line pass through, so you can keep rods rigged with no re-tying between spots. The velcro closure is quick on and off and stays snug in the boat, the car and storage at home. The materials are water and dust resistant and ready for saltwater.

Spinning reels 1000 to 4000 take Reel Armour Spinning. Low-profile baitcasters 100 to 200 take the Reel Armour Baitcaster.

Do you need a reel cover?

If your rods ride in a truck, a boat or a rod locker, a cover helps protect the reel from the knocks that damage gears, bearings and drag. It fits whether the rod is rigged or not.

Does it fit left- and right-hand reels?

Yes, both covers fit left- and right-hand reels.
