The Team
Curtis and Christian Sciacca, are anglers and designers who focusing on building practical protection that helps you protect your gear and spend more time fishing. For more than 8 years we have sketched, prototyped, and field-tested every product so it earns a place in our range. Our ethos the better you protect your gear, the longer it lasts.
Founder’s note
I started Rod Armour after years working in a fishing retail shop while studying at university. We bootstrapped from a small trade show in Brisbane, Australia, listened to anglers on the road, and kept improving and adding to our range. We sold online and at shows around Australia. As our brand grew so did international anglers contacting us to purchase our products. To serve customers in the United States, I based myself in New York for two years to set up operations, conducted tests with local anglers, and adapt products for US conditions. I have fished all my life, from Australian surf and estuaries to ice fishing in Canada and even quick sessions in Central Park, and that mix of places continues to shape what we build.
